LEfSe problem 'convert ASV to an integer'

Hello,

I am trying to use the lefse command in MOTHUR, but I am having the following problem:

[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.

**** Exceeded maximum allowed command errors, quitting ****
[ERROR]: cannot convert ASV to an integer.

Does anyone know what does this mean?

Can you post the syntax of the command you are running? What types of files are you giving as input?
