I have done the chimera.uchime command and it sais i need uchime.exe , my question is: isn’t it the ref file?? shall i just change the name of it??
before it i did:
unique.seqs
count.seqs
align.seqs
screen.seqs
filter.seqs
unique.seqs
anyone please?
The uchime executable is available with the executable versions of mothur, https://github.com/mothur/mothur/releases/tag/v1.36.1. It will also be built if you build from source. Most of the time when mothur can not find the uchime executable it is because the mothur executable has been moved. You can resolve this issue by moving the uchime executable to where mothur is.
Oh i haven’t seen the uchime file in the mothur.rar file. thank you !
