Unweighted.unifrac() generates empty ave.dist file

Dear forum users,
I just recently started using mother, so I hope I don’t forget any important information.
My problem is, that I get empty unweighted.ave.dist and unweighted.std.dist files, when running unifrac.unweighted with the MothurSOP data as well as with my own data:

unifrac.unweighted(tree=stability.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.pick.pick.pick. phylip.tre, count=stability.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.denovo.vsearch.pick.pick.pick. count_table, distance=lt, subsample=t)

I get the following output files:
*.uwsummary
*.unweighted.ave.dist
*.unweighted.std.dist
*.phylip.dist

The *.phylip.dist and *uwsummary files are not empty and I don’t receive any error / warning messages.
I’m using Mothur v.1.40.5 on a Ubuntu 16.04.5 system.
Thanks a lot for your help and please let me know if you need any additional information.

Hi - can you tell us how many samples are present in the count file?

Hi the count table contains 19 samples (MothurSOP data) and 30 samples (my own data)

Can you send the *.tre and *.count_table files to mothur.bugs@gmail.com and include a link to this thread? We’ll take a look and get back to you.

Thanks!

I did it. Thanks for your help.
