Unique.seqs error problem

I am getting this error when running the unique.seqs command.

free(): double free detected in tcache 2
Aborted (core dumped)

My Ubuntu version is 20.04, and I installed muthur using sudo apt install.
The log file looks like this.

I don’t know what’s causing it or how to fix the problem, do you have ideas?

Can you tell us what version number of mothur you are running?

The version that had the problem was 1.42, which was the old version
Now I have upgraded and solved the error!!
