Mothur v.1.44.3 vsearch file does not exist. mothur requires the vsearch executable

Hello All,

I am using mothur v.1.44.3

After using the following command the following error was generated. I have read previous forums, but am still unsure if I need to contact a server admin and if so how do I go about that? Please keep in mind that I am fairly new to mothur.

Current files saved by mothur:
fasta=R_2021_10_05_12_00_01_user_S51010052021_Chip.trim.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.fasta
count=R_2021_10_05_12_00_01_user_S51010052021_Chip.trim.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.count_table
processors=8

Output File Names:
current_files.summary

mothur > chimera.vsearch(fasta=current, count=current, dereplicate=t)

Hi,

Be sure to get the most recent version of mothur. If the tools aren’t included in the download for your version (they should be), there’s a separate link on the downloads page to get the tools
