Connecting to AWS instance via Putty or SSH

Hi Pat and co,

Feeling a bit silly here but we’ve set up a new AWS instance and we’re having trouble connecting via command line SSH or Putty. Connecting from Windows machines. We did not set up a key pair, and we matched the security sessions in the instance to those you listed in the wiki for setting up an AWS instance. For SSH here is a list of info that we get when we add the -v command (note I’ve replaced the public URL and IP address with x’s and [link]), see below. Any idea what we are doing wrong?

All the best, -Joyce
