I haven’t seen any mention of someone looking through the sequences from http://www.nature.com/articles/nmicrobiol201648 or http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v523/n7559/full/nature14486.html to see how well the v4 primers pick up the members of the candidate phyla radiation. I’m throwing that on my back burner for now. But anytime something hits my back burner, I wonder if it’s already been done. So would appreciate if anyone’s done this, chiming in on how it turned out.
