Hi,

It would be really nice if it was possible to get a number of sequences/barcode out of Mothur. It is really frustrating when every now and then there is a typo in barcode and only in the end I realize that there is one sample totally missing from the analysis. So if I could check already in the beginning how many seqs there are/sample, it would really be a killer :mrgreen: .

Was this ever implemented? I’m using v.1.27 and can’t seem to get this to work.

Trim.seqs outputs the number of sequences found in each sample after trimming. You can also use the count.groups command, http://www.mothur.org/wiki/Count.groups.
