Mothur logfiles not found

Hello! I am following the mothur miseq SOP in order to analyze the v3-v4 region of my samples. I am currently using mothur version 1.48.0, and I keep running into the following error every time I run a command:
[ERROR]: Could not open mothur.1721750755.logfile.

For example:
mothur > make.file(inputdir=., type=fastq, prefix=stability)

Logfile : mothur.1721751364.logfile

Detected 1 [ERROR] messages, please review.

I am also not able to find this specific logfile in the directory that I am working in, which seems odd.
Can anyone provide guidance on this?

For anyone who faces this problem in the future, I deleted all mothur-generated files from my working directory and reran the SOP. That got rid of the error. There was probably a corrupted file somewhere.
