Metastats - very slow

Hello,

I am using metastats to establish changes in the faecal microbiota over time, and want to compare the earliest and latest time point samples to explore overall changes within the 590 OTUs generated.

However, metastats didn’t complete when I left it to run for 12 hours, but it does complete (in about 10 seconds!) if I compare two early time points or two late time points.

I assume that this is due to the complexity of the changes when taking 590 OTUs into account, but should it take this long?
