metastats error

Hi Pat,

I’m having trouble with running the metastats command (V 1.19 on pc). Each time I run this command, I (almost immediately) get a popup saying that an error has occured in mothur.exe and that it has to be shut down. I have run other commands succesfully using the same shared- and design-files so I have no clue what the problem might be?

Unfortunately, there do seem to be some memory problems with the source code for metastats. this wasn’t code that we developed, rather stuff that we got from the Pop lab. Re-doing metastats is on our short list of things to work on this summer. Sorry! Feel free to email us your shared and design files and we can double check things for you.
