Compress parameter in count.seqs command is not working

Hi there,
I have a problem whenever I try this command:
count.seqs(count=/home_Exp01.trim.contigs.good.count_table,compress=f)
It gives me the following error:
compress is not a valid parameter.
The valid parameters are: shared, name, group, processors, large, groups, seed, inputdir, and outputdir.
count is not a valid parameter.
The valid parameters are: shared, name, group, processors, large, groups, seed, inputdir, and outputdir.

It looks like you may be running an older version of mothur without the compress option. What version of mothur are you running?

The version I’m using is: mothur v.1.36.1

Could you upgrade to the latest version and try again. We’re on 1.47.0 now
