clearcut crashes mothur

Hi Pat and Sarah,
I’m having a problem with clearcut. Here is what happens when I enter the command:

mothur > clearcut(phylip=WRF230413_31200.chop.unique.good.filter.phylip.dist)
/cluster/home/g/w/gwidme01/.lsbatch/1380502661.379934: line 8: 32640 Aborted
(core dumped) /cluster/tufts/gwidme01/mothur/mothur

The strange thing is that when a colleague here, who runs mothur on the same remote computer, uses the same dist input file clearcut works fine.
It only crashes when I run the program.

any idea what could be wrong?

How big is the distance file? Do you both have access to the same amount of RAM on the machine?
