After downloading the latest version from github, the logfile reports this:

Windows version

Running 32Bit Version

mothur v.1.35.0
Last updated: 03/23/2014

So, I assume I am running the 64-bit version that was last created in March of 2015. Is that correct?

Oops see that another version of Mothur was introduced since them. When I download the Win_64 v1.35.1 version I get

Windows version

Running 32Bit Version

mothur v.1.35.1
Last updated: 03/31/2015

Is this correct, or do I actually have the Win_64 bit version (running through an emulator for 32 bit programs)? Thanks…

Thanks for brining this to our attention. Our windows 64bit version is outputting the wrong label to the log file. Mothur.win_64.zip is in fact the 64bit version.
