remove.rare v.1.31.0

Hi all,

I find that when I run remove.rare with bygroup=t and bygroup=f that I get the same number of OTUs. For example:

mothur > remove.rare(shared=reu.final.phylip.an.shared, nseqs=2, bygroup=F)
mothur > remove.rare(shared=reu.final.phylip.an.shared, nseqs=2, bygroup=T)

Both yield a total of 2963 OTUs

However, when I run the same command on an older version (eg v.1.25) I get:

bygroup=F: 2963
bygroup=T: 2184

Any thoughts on this?
