I would like to use the UNITEv8 to classify the data, but it killed as “Calculating template probability…Killed” in classify.seqs command. Then I have tried several methods to figure it out. Finally, I used the UNITEv6 to classify the data, the issue figured out.
I am confused.
The UNITEv8 files are much bigger, from my experience, than the v6. I wonder if processing power/memory is the issue? It took much longer for them to classify for me than v6, but I did get there in the end.

The computer has 8G RAM and 512G SSD, cpu is 10th i5.
