otu.association command

Hello,

I would like to use otu.association to associate otus with metadata. However, I have the particular metadata for only half of the samples/groups in the shared file. Do I need to have all the samples/groups in the metadata file for it to work? If so, will I need to create a new shared file with only the samples/groups that I have the metadata for?

Yep. You can modify your shared command using make.groups to look at the samples that you have your metadata for.
