Finding start & end for pcr.seqs

Hi I’m an undergrad intern using mothur for analyzing 16s sequence with primers 515f-806r. How do I find the start & end numbers for the pcr.seqs command?Thank you so much!

Hi,

I usually align wtih the E. coli 16S rRNA seen in Figure 1 of Gutell et al. Microbiological Reviews 1994. The 16S sequence may be added to your sequences to see how the pcr.seqs trim.
