cooccurrence - interpreting output

I can’t make sense of the output of the cooccurrence command based on the page in the manual.
If I run with default settings, I get:

mothur > cooccurrence(shared=Lc.shared)
0.03
Initial c score: 3.46011
average metric score: 3.49
zscore: -4.67546
standard deviation: 0.00639269
Output File Names:
Lc.cooccurence.summary

So the initial score is slightly lower than the average score across null matrices. I’m not sure how to interpret the zscore or assess significance based on the standard deviation. If I run this analysis on multiple datasets, can I compare c score across datasets?
Thanks!

Matt

There should be a p-value in Lc.cooccurence.summary. Sorry it’s not outputted to the screen - we’ll work on that.
