combining forward and reverse primer seq

Dear Mothur User
I have a 16S clone library in which we sequenced each clones using two primers say 27f and 1492R (double pass sequencing). I reverse complemented the sequences obtained from primer 1492R.

Now, I am looking for a command in Mothur that can help me in combining forward and corresponding reverse primer sequences. I am trying to get full length clone sequences.

Please let me know if Mothur can assist me in doing it.

You cannot make contigs within mothur - you would probably need to use a program such as dnastar, staden, or do it by hand. Sorry!
