Ascii Null characters in output on Windows 7 Enterprise

Everything seems to run fine on a Windows 7 Home Edition laptop, with Mothur accessing a single core. But on the Enterprise Edition it seems to be able to access multiple cores and the output files often contain large numbers of Ascii Null characters, and cannot then be read correctly by subsequent commands.

Not using the Processors= flag seems to solve the problem, but I thought that this information might be of help to others.
