:::: A Problem in MOTHUR program ::::

Dear Dr. Patrick Schloss

I hope you are fine and everything is going well with you. We used MOTHUR (Windows-based) program. Our Windows is Win10.
Congratulations.
It is very efficient software for analysis of next generation sequencing data.
But we have a problem.
For the first time, we downloaded database that is present in the website including Example data from Schloss lab, SILVA-based bacterial reference alignment and mothur-formatted version of the RDP training set (v.9).

We go ahead very nicely but we had a problem.

We run (seq.error(fasta=stability.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.pick.pick.pick.fasta, count=stability.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.denovo.vsearch.pick.pick.pick.count_table, reference=HMP_MOCK.v35.fasta, aligned=F)) and it was nicely done.

But when we run (dist.seqs(fasta=stability.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.pick.pick.pick.fasta, cutoff=0.03)), MOTHUR program was stopped (Attached Figure 1).

When we run again seq.error command, we had an error (Attached Figure 2). I think there is a problem in seq.error command that it could crush and stop the program.
Could you please kindly check it and resolve it? We want to use the program urgently for our project.

With Best Regards
Ali Chenari Bouket, Ph.D.

Dear Westcott
Thanks for your reply.
I follow the link but it could not help me.
Error is now present. I urgently need to analyze my data but Mothur does not respond properly. Please help me.
