I’m unfortunately using Mothur with windows and some commands take a really long time. Now I have an access to a computer that has multible cores, but how can I make Mothur to do the run with multible cores? There are instructions for using multible prosessors with mac or linux, but how about windows??? Does processor=2 work?
We don’t currently support the use of multiple processors with our windows version.

I’d like this function as well. I have access to a computer that has 8 processors, but since it’s windows based, I can’t access the full potential. I’ll likely be getting linnux based computer in the near future, but it won’t be nearly as powerful as the windows based computer. Just wanted to add my support for this option. Thanks!
