Strange result from phylo.diversity commond

Hi all,I used phylo.diversity commond to calculate the PD value.And I found my result was strange.I will show it bebow.

my commond is “phylo.diversity(tree=otus.named.filter.fasta.tre,group=map.groups,name=map.names)”;
I try many times to change the sample names in the group file and find if two groups have the same initial letters the result will be the first one or it will be the second one.I check my files many times but can not solve my problem.I am not sure whether I have made some stupid mistakes or it is just
a bug.Any reply will be appricated.

Hmmm, I get nervous when people change names in a group file when those changes may not propagate to other files. Could you try to simplify the size of the dataset to see if you can reproduce this result on a smaller dataset? If not, can you email us at mothur.bugs@gmail.com and reference this forum thread?

Can you explain further what you mean by different results? Mothur sorts the group names, so the results may be in different order but they should be the same numbers.
