pre.cluster with option diffs=0

Dear mothur forum,

I’m running a fairly large batch file, and I need to turn off the preclustering.
If I put the diffs option to 0, will pre cluster still run and affect the outcome?

I’d rather not remove this option completely from the batch file, since the output names will be out of sync.

Setting diffs to 0 should work. Remember that you can always use the current option on the commands after the pre.cluster step and then comment out pre.cluster in your batch file.
