It would be helpful if mothur could ignore fasta comments: lines beginning ># in fasta files.
These comments are used by the RDP aligner to include secondary structure annotation, and I sometimes have to use RDP alignments. Of course, I could just delete those lines from my input, but…it would be nice to have mothur do that extra little step!
