I have classified my sequences using a database uploaded to Mothur. I would like to extract and create a txt file with the sequences that were grouped to one classification. Is there a command to this?

Get.lineage sounds like what you’re after. You can extract all the sequences classified to a particular species, as well as get the sequence distribution across samples.
