Correction for multiple tests in Unifrac

Hey Mothur Team,

I am wondering if the p-values that I get with the Unifrac.unweighted and Unifrac.weighted commands are the uncorrected p-values or if they are already corrected for multiple testing? I apologise if this information is already available, but I couldn’t find it in the wiki/on this forum.

Hi there - they are not corrected. I think we output the p-value that they would have to be less than to be significant using Bonferroni (e.g., 0.025 if you had two tests), but the actual outputted p-values for the comparisons are not corrected.
