It would be nice if ^C would stop the current mothur process and return to the command line, rather than exiting mothur altogether.
Also, Is there an easy way to get my normal arrow keys to work? so that up-arrow retrieves the last command, left arrow spaces back over the current command, etc?
I guess Pat would have to include the readline library for enabling command history, editing and functional arrow keys. I would definitely welcome this!

In version 1.8 the readline library was added to enable arrow keys.
