Uclust option in mothur

Hi,
Is it possible to include an option in mothur to allow clustering of the sequences like Uclust? I need to do a pairwise alignment of my sequences and bin them into different clusters depending on their similarity before doing any further analysis of the data.

mothur has the pairwise.seqs command that you can use to generate a distance matrix before running cluster.
