Tree file for ASV

Hi,

I want to create tree file for beta diversity using unifrace but my shared file are taxonomy are ASV. I could not use import_mothur to merge them because the tree file is using OTU. Is there any way to fix this problem?

I’d encourage you to follow along in the MiSeq SOP where we describe how to generate beta diversity metrics for OTUs. You can do the same thing with ASVs. From the beta diversity metrics discussion, you can build a dendrogram of samples using tree.shared.
