sub.sample only one sample

You have been really helpful.

I have followed the mothur SOP so far and everything is really good.

Is there any way to perform the sub.sample only to one sample?

e.g. One of the 16 samples I have due to a pooling mistake has too many sequences. I would like to perform sub,sample only to that sample.

Subsampling and rarefaction really only make sense when applied to all of the samples. Because all of the metrics are sensitive to uneven sampling effort, they need to have the same number of reads.
