Rarefaction Curve vs Good's coverage

Hi,

My rarefaction curves (describing the number of OTUs observed as a function of sampling effort) for most of the samples did not reach saturation at all, but I don’t understand why Good’s coverage is more than 99.5% for all samples?

Looking forward for help.

Thank you,

Richa

look at the y scale-you’re not hitting saturation but the good’s coverage indicates you are getting close (you have to sample many more sequences to add another species)
