Generating cons.tax.summary

Hi all,
I don’t know if it was written here, although I didn’t find, but
how can I generate the file cons.tax.summary after subsampling to the least number of sequences?
I know using shared and taxonomy I can make the correspondence of OTU/ASV, however I also like to use the cons.tax.summary as input for relative abundance chart.

Thanks

You don’t need to update the cons.taxonomy file after subsampling. The “name” of the OTU shouldn’t change.

but in case i would like to set the samples by tax level (eg. family or genus) using the same number of sequences? i cannot generate a tax.summary after subsampling? (sorry but in the title of this topic I’ve mentioned cons.tax file)

thanks

You can generate a shared file and get the consensus taxonomy for each phylotypes like we do in the phylotype section

Thanks,
