Could we get the Chen version of the generalized unifrac into mother? I think it’s the most up to date.

Admittedly, it’s probably very far off. We have found that building trees from large datasets is next to impossible. Further, we have yet to find a case where OTU-based methods give different results from phylogenetic methods.
