creating a FASTA file

Hi, I’m optimizing minflows and maxflows for processing. I ran trim.flows but forgot to use the parameter FASTA=T to output a FASTA file along with the flow files. Is there a quick way to create a FASTA file from the flow file without having to rerun trim.flows? (There’s no problem re-running it, except that it took quite awhile on my machine, and I can see myself forgetting this parameter often enough… :roll: )

Sorry, you’d have to re-run it. Usually when people want the flow data they don’t want the fasta data since the flow data will go into shhh.flows.
