summary.single() groupmode

I tried to use the option “groupmode” in summary.single

summary.single(groupmode=t)

and I received this error message:

groupmode is not a valid parameter.
The valid parameters are: label, calc, abund, size, outputdir, and inputdir.

Can you let us know what version of mothur you are using? This feature was added with v1.12.

Ah, this is the problem. I am using version 1.9 . I will try with the new version.
