# significance of indices

Hi!  
I was wondering …Is there any way to test if there is statistical significance of diversity indices between samples?..For example comparing Chao1 between samples that would give us a strong argument when comparing samples…?

Sure… You’d run summary.single with subsampling and then use the output file in your statistical package of choice and the appropriate test.
