# read.tree

I’m having trouble with read.tree

I had v. 1.9 installed and had this trouble:

read.tree(tree=Ss031a01\_ExportTrees, group=Ss031a01\_combined.group)

Name: Bsubtilis is not in your groupfile, and will be disregarded.

Segmentation fault

Then I saw that v. 1.10 is out, so tried that:

mothur \> read.tree(tree=Ss031a01\_ExportTrees, group=Ss031a01\_combined.group)

Name: Bsubtilis is not in your groupfile, and will be disregarded.  
Bus error

In both cases mothur crashes. Any ideas?

Sorry for the obvious question… is Bsubtilis in your group file? How did you create the tree file? Feel free to forward the tree and group (and names) files to [mothur.bugs@gmail.com](mailto:mothur.bugs@gmail.com)
