# Mock community analysis

Hello,

I am very new to mothur and am working through my analysis for a few different experiments; this is I think a very basic question. I sequenced three plates worth of samples at U Michigan, each plate with a mock community. When trying to calculate the error rate, I’m not quite sure how to handle this. What would you recommend?
