# make.file 1.39.5 windows case sensitive problem?

Hi!

I have this inconvenient error when using mothur, windows, 1.39.5, make.file command

For example, for this read

MI.M03555\_0225.001.FLD0206.Positif\_R1.fastq

in the .files I get

MI.M03555\_0225.001.FLD0206.POSITIF\_R2.FASTQ

which is a little annoying because make.contigs won’t start because it does not find the correct file. So I have to manually rename some files.

any workaround?

Thanks for reporting this issue, it will be fixed in version 1.40.0 releasing soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem!

I am way more excited about a new Mothur release then any new cell phone release!
