LCA for classify.seqs?

Hi
I am not much into the algorithms, tell me if I am saying sth wrong :oops: but as I use the Siva database for classification, I wander if would it be possible to have implemented not only the RDP Classifier algorithm but also the LCA used with SINA by the ARB (Silva) people?

That’s the method=knn approach, which is not as good as the naive bayesian approach.

Thanks! I thought that as it was the method used by the Silva people it should be better, I’m sorry.
