# Dist.seqs Segmentation fault (core dumped) error

Hi all, I am running the 16s workflow (Mothur v.1.44.2), and on the dist.seqs command I immediately get the error “Segmentation fault (core dumped)” exiting mothur.

I am running dist.seqs(fasta=stab.trim.contigs.good.unique.good.filter.unique.precluster.pick.pick.fasta, cutoff=0.03)

I can’t figure out what the problem is, is it possible there is a bug?
