Hello Everyone,
I will be grateful if anyone can explain be the difference between these two outputs.
On manual it says that in sabund the second column is number of sequences in the dominant OTU(s) and in rabund the second column is the number of OTUs that have been formed.
In the sabund file why the second column is increasing ?
In the above example, 192 is the number of OTUs at distance 0.03. 1505 is the number of OTUs containing 1 sequence , 430 is the the number of OTUs containing 2 sequences, 188 is the number of OTU’s containing 3 sequences, ect.
In the above example, 2446 is the number of OTUs at distance 0.03. 192 is the number of sequences in OTU1 , 179 is the number of sequences in OTU2, 170 is the number of sequences in OTU3, ect.
In the above example, 192 is the number of OTUs at distance 0.03. 1505 is the number of OTUs containing 1 sequence , 430 is the the number of OTUs containing 2 sequences, 188 is the number of OTU’s containing 3 sequences, ect."
I didn’t get this one. If the number of OTUs are 192 at distance 0.03 then how come 1505 is the number of OTUs containing sequence 1,430 is the the number of OTUs containing 2 sequences…etc…
will not all the OTUs sum to 192?
Thanks!!!
