The summary file for classify.seqs has changed so that line 2 now reports 0 sequences for the Root taxlevel.

This probably won’t worry most people but we wrote a script to look at sequence percent in the various levels that caught the change. If users classify eukaryotes and archaea this may cause a problem.

Here is the new output from 1.21

taxlevel rankID taxon daughterlevels total
0 0 Root 1 0
1 0.1 Bacteria 11 8249

and from an older file:

taxlevel rankID taxon daughterlevels total
0 0 Root 1 1959
1 0.1 Bacteria 14 1959

Thnks, Bob

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The fix will be part of version 1.22.0.
